Here’s Miss Melody Emel (aka Montana Hale) and me. Melody is a top notch gun spinner, whip artist, and knife thrower (oh, and she’s kinda purty, too). On several ocasions she’s been my “target girl”. Talk about a Jackie of All Trades!
I spent the weekend helping to run the events, and coaching the throwers. Here I am giving some sort of advice to Melody.
This must be my “deep thoughts” pose. Check out the Che Che Whitecloud World Championship trophy on the left. It’s adorned with Che Che’s own performance knives (retired), wood from his own targets, and photos of his family going back to his great grandfather. It’s a pretty big deal, to put it lightly. Here’s Melody in a fancier outfit which she made entirely by hand. Not bad, huh? She’s the one in the maroon shirt. Her sister Evy is the gal on the left. In the background in the red shirt is the famous Dan Mink of the Rhinestone Ropers, husband of Kimberly Mink. Both starred on Wife Swap this past season.
